Thomas Kennedy Pope is a Telly Award winning director, screenwriter, and producer for hire based in Atlanta, Georgia. He specializes in both narrative filmmaking and docu-narrative commercial work.

Over the course of his 14-year career, his films have screened to the praise of audiences across 3 continents. His most recent short film, "Message to Jacob," received awards for best short film at the Sundial Film Festival and Monmouth Film Festival; and has appeared as an official selection in 8 film festivals in 2026.

His personal work takes influences from folkloric storytelling and post-modern sociopolitical absurdism, often crafting characters inspired by his mix of both Italian and Southern roots. The objective of each project is to focus audiences on finding empathy within tragically flawed characters or societal systems at large.

As a commercial director and producer, Kennedy focuses on a human-centric, authenticity-first approach to connect with audiences. Since 2019, he has worked for award-winning agencies to produce and direct upwards of 500 branded videos -- having created works for a wide array of clientele, including Harvard Medical, USDA Forest Service, BM Communications, and Grindr.
